    English TV at home

    Sky

The most expensive but most reliable option. This premium satellite network carries many shows and movies that can be switched to english. Even sports commentaries and documentaries.
Ways to install Sky may vary depending on where you live. The easiest option is to get it via your TV cable output on your wall. By doing so, you will also have to subscribe to Kabel Deutschland for the basic service, and add Sky on top of that.
If the place you live do not support that option, then you will have to install a satellite. This is a very complicated option as in most cases, you will need your landlord's approval and the right location to point your satellite (28.2° E).
There are always offers from Sky for their service, but you can expect 30-40 € a month for satellite tv.

    Filmon.tv

Popular free streaming option that works on IOS, Android, and Windows.
Over 500 channels to choose from, the most popular channels available are all the major UK networks (BBC, ITV, Channel 4).
Fairly reliable depending on the speed of your internet connection. For the complete TV experience, i would recommend getting a APPLE TV and use the IOS app as it supports Airplay
